As a grant giving charity, applicants for funding voluntarily provide information in order to facilitate our charitable activities. We are responsible for the collection and proper management of any personal information you give to us. We will keep your personal details secure and use the information you provide consistently with applicable privacy and data protection laws and the terms of this Privacy Notice.

The information we collect and hold may include your name, contact details, your school, college, university or the place of work you attend. Information about your organisation and any additional information we may need to help meet your specific requirements.
Where you provide us with personal data relating to others (for example, where you are making an application for grant funding on behalf of someone else or an organisation), we understand that you are authorised to provide that information to us.

We may disclose personal data to a variety of recipients including:
- to our partner organisations
- to our trustees
- When the Trust is legally required to do so for example by the Charity Commission

How long will we hold your information for?
Data relating to unsuccessful applicants is deleted within 2 years of the end of the application process. For successful applicants we may retain your personal data indefinitely. Where your information is no longer required, we will ensure it is disposed of or deleted in a secure manner.

- to confirm whether we hold any of your personal data
- to send you a copy of any personal data that we hold about you
- to correct any inaccuracies in your personal data and to add relevant details where the personal data we hold is incomplete
